Foreign Minister Tuomioja to travel to Estonia for “Europe’s Future and the Baltic Sea region” seminar

Minister for Foreign Affairs Erkki Tuomioja, Docent of Political History, is set to attend the seminar on “Europe’s Future and the Baltic Sea region” on 25 July at the Kuressaare Cultural Centre in Saaremaa, Estonia.

The seminar is held as part of the Baltic Sea History Days, an event hosted by the Turku University Foundation together with Estonian partners.

Foreign Minister Tuomioja will deliver a speech at the seminar. The other keynote speaker is Mr Siim Kallas, member of the European Commission and former Prime Minister of Estonia.

The seminar will be attended by scholars from Finnish and Estonian universities, leading figures from business and the public sector, and other experts from various fields. The languages of the seminar are Finnish and Estonian. The seminar coincides with the Saaremaa Opera Days.
