The International Security Forum came to a close on a high note on 24 April 2013 at the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG) with one of the keynote addresses from Former President of Finland Ms Tarja Halonen. Finland was visible at the Forum also by an exhibition of Finnish peacekeeping, peacebuilding, mediation and capacity building activities.
The International Security Forum (ISF) was launched in 1994 and has since been at the forefront of cooperation among international security professionals around the world. Over the years, the ISF has brought together hundreds of researchers, academics, civil servants, military officials, and media representatives from over 50 countries. The conference is biennial and is held alternately in Zurich and Geneva.
