Finnish nuclear safety and security measures presented at the UN

The Finnish and Canadian missions in Geneva organized a side event to the NPT 2nd Preparatory Committee meeting on 2 May 2013 about Nuclear security when designing new reactors. The Finnish Ambassador Ms Päivi Kairamo chaired the event, and the Section Head Ms Elina Martikka from the Finnish Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority (STUK) presented security measures in Finland, and Mr Philip Webster, Counsellor of Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, presented Canadian practices.
